kaitiakitanga Concept - Animal Regeneration
What is your topic? Our topic is researching and learning about weta motels. We researched about wetas and found out that they are endangered, so we decided to build a home for them. Our weta motels have some hangers for the food and we have put some wood, so the wetas don't fall off. We can open it so we can feed them. There is some little holes for all of the wetas to get in. Our Weta Motel is roomy and fun has holes to find little friends through. We will attracted wetas with flowers and food. They eat apples, carrots and flowers they will enjoy this food. and within a month all our rooms will be booked out.

What a lot of thinking you have done to plan and build your weta motel! This is such a great idea to help look after our native environment. What do you have to do to take care of your weta motel once it is set up outside?
ReplyDeleteKi ora Madi, Tessa, Britta, Ella, Mia. Your type of way that you guys are protecting the wetas for a better future is amazing I really like the way you built the home Where you thought the wetas are usually hiding Next time try researching what the wetas like and plan to put those things they like in their little hotel.
