Enviro Group - Kaitiakitanga

The Stonefields Environment Group have been looking at ways in which we can minimise the amount of waste that we are bringing into school. We have decided to run a Zero Waste Day Competition. Each Hub will get given a black plastic bag and we will have collect all the waste that is in the lunch boxes, all the waste that the hub makes and we will see who has managed Zero Waste or who has the least waste.

Our brainstorm and thinking about what we need to do and our next steps. Watch this space.

  4. Kia ora! What a fantastic idea you came up with in the Enviro Group! As we are learning about kaitiakitanga and being the guardians of our environment too, we would love to find out how your competition works out.
